My earliest interest in photography was a family trip to Europe. I became the "official photographer" after my dad's fancy camera was stolen from our train!!! I captured beautiful moments of our experience with a 110 Instamatic. That was all it took for me to be hooked!
Thirty years later I still love photography and I am excited to see every proof of every event.
My education at Brooks Institute of Photography was wonderful, but the experience of shooting 1000 weddings and bar mitzvahs, actually counts more.
A quirky sense of humor, and a flexible photographic style results in images that are loosely traditional, with a lot of photojournalism added. A combination of family pictures and candid images too, in black and white and color using mostly natural lighting whenever possible gives a wide range of coverage.
A wedding, a new baby, a bat/bar mitzvah, lifecycle events, Jodye isn't only your photographer, you might end up having dinner one night at her home with other past clients that became friends...
